About Our Diet
At last there is, in general, greater awareness about the importance of what we eat. Children are now being taught in school about the importance of the '5 a day'. In reality, more than 5 portions of fruit and vegetables are needed for optimal health (10 to 12 portions is the recommendation by experts).
The special suggestions made in this section are to point us in the right direction, not only towards achieving optimal health, but also for when we suffer a complaint that can be helped by attention to diet.
