Pauline Start, Homeopath: About Me

I am married and have five grown-up children and seven grandchildren.

The human body and how it works has always intrigued me and as well as homeopathy, I have a special interest in nutrition and its relationship to health.

I was led to homeopathy following the successful treatment of my own chronic complaint (painful knees!), which disappeared within a few weeks following homeopathic treatment. While running an interior design and soft furnishing business, I trained as a homeopath, graduating after four years from The College of Practical Homeopathy – Midlands (now The Homeopathy College - Birmingham). I am registered with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths and the Register of Homeopaths, which bind members to a professional Code of Ethics and Practice. In addition, I have been accepted as a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practioners. Currently, I am completing training for the Advanced Practitioner Diploma in Nutritional Healing.

I still marvel at the way homeopathy is able to restore people to health, resolving both chronic and acute conditions. Deep-seated emotional difficulties are also gently resolved. For me, every new case is an adventure and a privilege.
